A History of Growth
When our company first opened its doors in 1923, about all you needed to be in the roofing business was a wood-fired kettle, a few wheelbarrows, a truck and a rope and wheel.
Later, tube-fired kettles and fiberboard insulation entered the picture. Steel roof decks paved the way for large roofing expanses. Our company adopted the new materials and equipment and built a reputation for excellent work. And business started to boom: West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Kentucky and Ohio. Expansion into the Southeast occurred with the addition of full-service offices and plants in Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida.Â
Today, our group of wide-ranging locations serves commercial, industrial, institutional and residential customers throughout the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest. We are proud of our extensive product and technical knowledge and reputation for providing time-tested roofing, sheet metal, and HVAC/mechanical system solutions.
